The Oklahoma Cancer Center is located at the Health Sciences Center and is looking for caring idividuals from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of experiences to volunteer in one of the following categories:

Operation Elf

Operation Elf is a year-round toy drive benefiting the The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center here within the Oklahoma Health Center! Each inpatient child is visited by the famous toy card and has the opportunity to choose just the right toy to take home with them. With your help the playroom and toy cart programs can continue at The Children's Hospital.

OU Medical Center

At OU Medical Center and The Children's Hospital, our Volunteers are an extension of our medical team. Many of the services our volunteers provide include:

• Instruct patients and families on directions and other hospital information
• Deliver mail, flowers, and other items to patients
• Offer coffee, tea and cocoa to families
• Assist with hospital gift shops and art committees
• Knit, sew and crochet items with loving care

In addition to these services, our volunteers give of their time and talents in many other ways.

Regional Food Bank

Regional Food Bank is located in Oklahoma City and has several different volunteer opportunities available for individuals and groups. The Regional Food Bank feeds over 90,000 Oklahomans each week! For more information on how to get involved with the Regional Food Bank click here.
