A Powwow is a gathering where Native American dancing, singing and celebration take place. Almost all powwows are open to the public. Dr. Cornel Pewewardy’s Powwow 101 talk is intended to help the participant better understand and enjoy the events and activities which occur at many of the plains area powwows and celebrations.
