SLS can help students resolve their personal legal matters, specifically: name changes, expungements, non-contested divorces and other Family law matters, landlord/tenant conflicts, Power(s) of Attorney and Health care planning, Municipal criminal matters, Collections cases, Immigration questions, and General practice legal matters.

Office of Immigration Services

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) Office of Immigration Services (OIS) provides the following services to our international students to ensure they are supported:

  1. Student and Exchange Visitor Program immigration record maintenance
  2. Maintenance of status, travel, and employment authorization
  3. Immigration change of status to F-1 status
  4. Employment authorization including F-1 OPT, STEM OPT, I-983 training plan, and CPT
  5. International student resources & attorney workshops on immigration options after
    F-1 status
  6. International student forms and handouts
  7. Orientation to the US and immigration requirements
  8. International Student Programs

The purpose of the International Student Organization is to provide a broader spectrum of our great world.
