Physical Wellness

The physical dimension recognizes the need for regular physical care. Consistent sleep, eating routine, and physical activity are important components to optimal wellness. Building physical wellness involves understanding your body and its warning signs.

These 20-minute sessions via Zoom start with 3-5 minutes of desk yoga and stretching then transition into guided meditation and breathwork led by Pooja Shrivastava, Ph.D. A great way to reduce stress and anxiety and improve focus and productivity. Emotional Wellness

The emotional dimension recognizes awareness and acceptance of one’s feelings. Emotional wellness includes the degree to which one feels positive and enthusiastic about one’s self and life. It includes the capacity to manage one’s feelings and related behaviors including the realistic assessment of one’s limitations, development of autonomy, and ability to cope effectively with stress.

Spiritual Wellness

The spiritual dimension acknowledges the importance of having a sense of meaning. Often meaning or a sense of purpose is found in one’s values which may be informed by their family systems, religions, philosophies, and more. Understanding one’s values and reflecting on whether one is living in accordance to their values is a ---- spiritual wellness.
