November Resources

We are here for you, and we care.

We recognize and validate the last 10 months have brought a number of challenges and concerns to the forefront of our minds. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the election, social injustices in our country, Zoom fatigue, unexpected inclement weather and local power outages, it is critical to remind our community of resources and support. As students, a number of resources are available to you. The stress and anxiety are real. Please take a moment to review Dealing with Election Stress

You are encouraged to reflect on what your needs may be in the coming days (and weeks) and take advantage of one or more of the resources below.

Additionally, we want to reiterate the sentiments from President Harroz released on October 27: “No matter the outcome of the election, I can assure you this: OU will remain a place of true belonging for all of its community members, no matter who they are, or who they voted for. Our success as a university following Election Day will be measured by our ability to set the standard for how Americans of all backgrounds can unify and work together for the common good.”

We are dedicated to creating an inclusive, brave environment for our students and campus community, providing all members a space to learn and develop as leaders and professionals. Again, please keep the resources above in mind as you navigate the coming weeks.
