The Writing Center is a valuable resource that is available to Health Sciences students at no additional charge. We can help you with nearly any writing project, including course assignments, resumes/CVs, personal statements, and cover letters, and we can assist you at any point in the process – from initial brainstorming to final polishing.
Appointments are available Monday-Thursday 9:00 am–4:00 pm. You can choose to meet in person (Health Sciences Student Union, room 214) or virtually, for either 25 minutes or 50 minutes.
How to Schedule an Appointment:
- Register for an account at https://ouhsc.mywconline.com
- On the schedule, select an appointment from the available time slots (white blocks)
- Use the appointment end time drop-down menu to set a 25-minute or 50-minute length
- In the “Meet Online?” box, select whether you want to meet in person or online
- Fill in the appointment information and, if desired, attach a document
Where to Go for Your Appointment:
- In-person appointments: Please arrive at the Writing Center (Student Union, Room 214) at your scheduled appointment time, and bring any materials you will need.
- Online appointments: Please be sure your device has internet access and a working microphone. At the time of your appointment, join the video call through the WCOnline schedule by clicking on your appointment, then clicking “Start or Join Online Consultation”
