Willie V. Bryan Service Award
The Willie V. Bryan Service award application is for graduating students enrolled in an OU Health Sciences program. The selection is based on a commitment to the service of others, defined as service to their community, campus, cultural community, or an underserved population.
Outstanding Senior Leadership Award
The Outstanding Senior Leadership Award application is for graduating students enrolled in an OU Health Sciences program. Each academic college committee selects one outstanding graduating student based on leadership, campus involvement, professional development, and community service to represent the college. One graduating student is selected overall for the Joseph J. Ferretti Outstanding Senior Leadership Award for campus-wide dedication.
Outstanding First Year Leader Award
The application for Outstanding First Year Leadership is for students in the first year of their OU Health Sciences program. The selection is based on leadership, campus involvement, professional development, and community service within the recipient’s first year of their academic program. The award will recognize one emerging leader.
Outstanding Registered Student Organization Award
The Outstanding Registered Student Organization Award is given to an RSO recognized for dedication and commitment to not only serving the OU Health Sciences, but the local community as well. Nominations are submitted on behalf of the RSO itself.
Outstanding Registered Student Organization Advisor Award
The Outstanding Registered Student Organization, or RSO, Adviser is selected from nominations by students and student groups for dedication and commitment to students, serving not only OU Health Sciences students, but their local community as well. Nominations are submitted on behalf of the RSO itself.
Student Veteran and Family Leadership Award
The OU Health Sciences Student Veteran and Family Leadership Award is given to one outstanding veteran or family member of, who has displayed a commitment to their respective campus in addition to service to the United States. Students in their second year or greater of their respective OU Health Sciences program are eligible for application.
Campus Life Award
The Campus Life Award will be presented to up to 15 non-first year students who geographically attend OU Health Sciences, OU-Tulsa, or distant site campuses. Selected students must have excelled in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service to the university community.
Tanya L. Mustin Award for Staff Excellence
The Tanya L. Mustin Award for Staff Excellence award has been designed to honor an exemplary OU Health Sciences staff member. This award is presented to a staff member who has gone above and beyond for students and served full-time within OU Health Sciences programs for at least three years. This award is selected from nominations by students.
Robert Magarian Faculty Excellence Award
The Robert Magarian Faculty Excellence award has been designed to honor an exemplary OU Health Sciences faculty member. This award is presented to a faculty member who has gone above and beyond for students and served full-time within OU Health Sciences programs for at least three years. This award is selected from nominations by students.
Intramural Sports Individual Award
This honor highlights a student’s leadership, competitive play, and sportsmanship through their participation in sports on the University of Oklahoma Health Campus.
