OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center will be having its sixth annual Outpace Cancer Race! This year’s race will be held on Saturday, April 13 at the OU Health Sciences Campus in Oklahoma City. A virtual option will be available to those unable to join in person. Every dollar raised through Outpace Cancer Race goes directly to support patient supportive care services and advance lifesaving research taking place at Stephenson Cancer Center.
Outpace Cancer Race brings people together to recognize anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. Cancer impacts nearly all of our lives in various ways. Some participate to celebrate survivors; others honor loved ones they have lost and many show up to support those who are currently dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Outpace is also an opportunity for physicians, nurses, and staff from Stephenson Cancer Center to reflect on the significance of their work and to interact with the community that is directly impacted by the care they provide.
