OU Student Government Association at OU Health Campus

Your Voice.
Your Campus.
Your SGA.

The Student Government Association represents students across OU Health Campus and helps shape the student experience. Through advocacy, campus programs, service, funding, and collaboration with university leaders, SGA gives students a way to be heard and make a difference.

What SGA Does for Students

SGA serves as a bridge between students, college governing groups, faculty, alumni, and university administration. Its goals include giving students an effective voice, improving campus life through interdisciplinary activities, supporting community service, and connecting students with information, programs, and services.

Represents Your Voice

SGA brings student ideas and concerns into conversations about campus programs, policies, services, and the student experience.

Builds Campus Community

SGA helps create interdisciplinary programs and activities that connect students across OU Health Campus.

Creates Leadership Opportunities

Students can serve as executive officers, senators, council members, committee chairs, or campus liaisons.

Supports Service and Impact

SGA coordinates and supports initiatives related to community service, campus-wide events, blood drives, safety, wellness, and community partnerships.

Get Involved with SGA

Whether you want to represent your college, work on a campus issue, plan an event, or build leadership experience, there are several ways to participate.

Run for Executive Board

The Executive Board includes five elected positions: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and Campus Activities Board chair. Elections are held each spring.

Join the Executive Council

Executive Council members support specific programs, services, and initiatives. Applications generally open after Executive Board elections in the spring.

Represent Your College in the Senate

The Senate includes elected representatives from each college. Senators meet monthly, vote on resolutions, address student issues, review budget allocations, and work on projects affecting the campus community. Each college conducts its own Senate elections.

Share Your Voice

Have an idea, concern, or question about campus life? SGA wants to hear from you. Share feedback about student services, parking and transportation, technology, wellbeing, campus programs, academic concerns, or other issues affecting your experience.
