OU Medical Center Volunteers

OU Health/The University of Oklahoma Medical Center is looking for interested college or graduate students to join our Adult Volunteer team! Preferred time commitment would be a 2-4 hour shift once per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm.

Must have Covid vaccine and ability to complete a background check, drug test and employee health compliance(all at no charge to you) prior to volunteering.

Volunteer tasks include:

• Assisting staff and working with patients in some departments such as ER, Endoscopy, Oncology, Surgery Support
• Patient Pals Activity Cart – Visiting with patients in the hospital and offering activities such as crossword puzzle books, coloring books, and some personal care items they may need.
• Popcorn & Cookie Cart – Only open on Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm,  shift work available 9am-11:00am,  11:00am-1:00pm; 1:00-3:00pm, starting Thursday, September 15th.
• Coffee Cart – Free coffee for staff and guests
