Yesterday, Apple released macOS Catalina (10.15). There are some things you need to know:
- Catalina is not supported on campus.
- Catalina no longer runs 32bit applications. That means some of your apps will not work.
- The IT Security Suite is not compatible. That means your computer will no longer be compliant with Federal and University security standards.
If you've upgraded your computer to macOS Catalina, the only way to get it back to a supported Operating System (OS) is to back up your data and bring your laptop along with your charger to the IT Service Desk (SU105). We will have to delete all data and rebuild the computer using a previous OS.
