The Writing Center serves all University of Oklahoma Health academic program students and alumni. All services are free of charge.

Appointments

Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00 am–4:00 pm
Modality options: In person (The Student Union, Room 306), over video call, or asynchronous (written feedback only)
Length options: Appointments are 50 minutes

Each writer is allowed 2 appointments per week.
Documents longer than 6 pages will require multiple appointments.

How to Schedule an Appointment: 
  • Register for an account at https://ouhsc.mywconline.com
  • On the schedule, select an appointment from the available time slots (white blocks)
  • Select your desired modality, provide some information about the assignment, and attach a document

Where to Go for Your Appointment:

  • In-person appointments: Please arrive at the Writing Center (Student Union, Room 306) at your scheduled appointment time, and bring any materials you will need.
  • Online appointments: Please be sure your device has internet access and a working microphone. At least 5 minutes prior to your appointment, join the video call through the WCOnline schedule by clicking on your appointment then clicking “Join Online Consultation”.
  • Asynchronous appointments: Please upload your document at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment. In your document, feel free to include any comments and/or questions.
