Join us as we discuss how medical professionals may help patients, caregivers, and other professionals define clinical and personal success, even when a patient may have a terminal diagnosis.
In this brief segment of the workshop, we will define vicarious trauma and its impact on medical professionals. We will also review coping strategies to combat the negative influence of vicarious trauma on medical professionals, examples will include, but are not limited to: journaling, self-reflection activities, self-compassion, and stress management techniques.
